Because every plan A needs a solid plan B – right?! You may be familiar, from a recent blog post, of our two main ceremony sites. If not, go here to read more about them! But, what you may not know, is just how beautiful an indoor wedding ceremony can be here at Park31.
Kristyn and Ty got married in February of 2022, and we all know just how unpredictable Texas weather can be (in any month!). Unfortunately, as the day approached, it was clear it was going to be both cold and rainy on their big day. Where many may be disappointed in this, the two took it in stride and worked with their vendor team to create the most beautiful plan B – an indoor ceremony inside our En Gedi Main Hall.

After getting ready in our Madison Bridal Suite, Kristyn met her groom for their first look – and a first look at their ceremony space! If you haven’t considered a first look yet, we love it for the option to take some photos together and get some of those pre-ceremony jitters out! You just might thank us later!
Kristyn looked stunning as she walked down her white carpeted aisle to meet Ty at their new ceremony site. It was as if it was planned that way all along.
In what seemed like the fastest, and most incredible transformation, it was all hands on deck as the room was flipped for the reception. Looking at these images, you’d never even know they had just said “I do” here only 45 minutes before! The Vintage Bouquet created some of the most beautiful floral arrangements we’ve seen. It was the perfect mix of a wintery design, with the velvet linen on the cake table, and the all white floral throughout the venue. The pair worked with Scarlet Rose Events for their planning & design, and they also created some of the custom pieces with the dance floor, seating chart, and other signage.
These two could have handled the day very differently, but they were so positive. One thing we heard Kristyn say was that it was better than she’d ever anticipated, and it almost felt like this was how it was meant to be all along.
One thing we know for sure, is the importance of a solid vendor team. From the catering staff to the rental company, to the planning team and the florist, every individual working that day had the same goal in mind – to create a magical, memorable day for these two and their families. And that is exactly what they did.
